The Men's singles final was a thrilling event, with both players playing extremely well in the potential final, Mike emerging victorious by 21–19. That of course meant that Ben now also had only one life left, but it seemed to spur him on to greater things as he played superbly in the final, while Mike could not recapture his form of the morning's match. The final score of 21–4 to Ben was a fair reflection of how the game went, and Mike said afterwards "I just couldn't find it this time, and whenever I did find it he just found it better!".
