Bowls New Zealand publishes regular circulars on administrative matters affecting all Kiwi bowlers but strangely fails to draw them to your attention.
Included in the November circular is the news that Bowls New Zealand has intervened in the running of the Counties Manakau Centre with a view to winding it up and creating a new Centre.

It's a pleasure to read Auckland's Annual Report at the end of each season. Then compare it with Bowls Wellington's miserable little A5 booklet with miniscule font size. Don't they realize reports are now published online in pdf format, which easily supports photos and colour?
Perhaps Ross's first job at Bowls Wellington might be to bring their reporting standards into the 21st century! Just my opinion.

Congratulations go to Tawa's Ross Gillett for his appointment to the Board of Bowls Wellington.
The biennial Asia Pacific Championships are now underway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event features Tawa's Dale Lang in the triples and fours (see below).
Tawa Bowls Club extends its congratulations to Don for this well-earned award.
The World Champion of Champions Singles event is underway in Ayr, Scotland for all winners of their respective National Singles Championship. New Zealand is represented by Richard Collett from Papakura and Sue Wightman from Hakaru in Northland.
